How to eliminate fungi from your plants

- Remove infected soil

The ideal then is a fair transplant: it is important that you remove as much soil as possible from the root ball, always being careful not to damage the roots. And do not forget to make a good drainage to prevent excess humidity, in addition to avoiding excessive watering and prolonged saturation of the base of the plants.
- Disinfect the plant
It will be useless to change the substrate if you put the plant back in the same pot. Remember fungi are microscopic, so you will not be able to see their presence with the naked eye.
For this reason, you should thoroughly wash the pot with water, soap and baking soda. After this, and to guarantee its total disinfection, apply fungicide on the entire surface, both interior and exterior.
- Clean the leaves
Depending on the fungus and the state of spread, you will not only find mold in the soil of your plants, but you will be able to see it on the leaves, both on the top and the bottom.
Once you have finished the previous steps, it will be enough to remove the fungi with a dry cloth.
